London, England, 15 June 2010: Flow Interactive, a leading UK User-Centred Design (UCD) and user experience specialist, is the programme partner and sponsor of the User Experience Conference taking place 22-23 June in Prague. Through a series of presentations and workshops, the event will explore the value of user experience in designing usable websites.

“In today’s interactive online space, usable websites also have to deliver compelling online experiences, but that’s only possible if you understand your users’ needs,” says John Thew, Flow Interactive’s Managing Director. “We’re delighted to be associated with this event bringing together marketers, web designers and developers to discover and discuss the exciting developments in user experience concepts.”

Elisa del Galdo, Flow Interactive’s Director of User Experience, will present “UX Beyond Usability – What’s Currently In” at the event. Giving an overview of the current trends in the user experience industry, she will also look at the frameworks and methodologies that are attracting attention. Topics covered will include designing for persuasion, international and remote research, and the use of eye-tracking and EEG in research.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a practical design workshop, entitled “The Magic of Design”, run by Elisa del Galdo and Jan Srutek, a user experience consultant at Flow Interactive. This will explore how to balance business objectives, design strategy, user needs and design guidelines to create successful web designs. Participants will learn how to create, critique and iterate designs collaboratively and justify the design solution to their customers.
