New 2010 report provides key industry data, for the first time with detailed language comparison

Vienna, Berlin, Starnberg, London, May 2010 – For the eighth consecutive year emarsys, one of the leading providers of email marketing solutions and services, published the Email Benchmark
Report analysing the email response data from January 1 to December 31, 2009. This year, for the first time, comprehensive analysis of the response data was supplemented with insight into the language differences and their connection with the campaign results.

To produce the Report, emarsys evaluated more than 30,000 email campaigns of over 500 company clients, both from the business and consumer sectors. The data, assessed from the point of view of regional, linguistic and category differences revealed a number of significant trends, such as the increase in click rates in the consumer sector and a major decrease in unsubscribe rate in both consumer and business sectors.
