Leading digital agency Freestyle Interactive has been shortlisted for a top communications industry award for its client work with one of the UK’s leading providers of invoice finance –Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance.

News of the nomination in the UK Digital Impact Awards came last week with Freestyle shortlisted in the category: “Social media: Best Use of Community Development”.

Keith Bennett, e-commerce & online channel manager, Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance said: “This is great news & good to be recognised at this level of award. Run by Communicate magazine – the monthly journal for corporate communication professionals – the Digital Impact Awards are focused on recognising excellence in digital stakeholder communications.

Communicate magazine’s publisher Andrew Thomas said: “These are brand new awards conceived to create a platform to discuss digital communications and online reputation and brand management. We spent a lot of time putting together a jury of digital experts, communications practitioners and academics & they are the UK’s only dedicated celebration of digital design, strategy & communication.”

The judging panel comprises a high quality line-up including global head of interactive for Cadbury, head of digital communications for Greenpeace and global head of marketing communications for ING. The award winners will be announced on Tuesday 21st September 2010.
