Ryman has redeveloped its website (www.ryman.co.uk) following a major investment in a new eCommerce infrastructure. The web design was undertaken by digital agency Essence (www.essence.co.uk) with all technical development of the eCommerce platform and back office integration handled by e-inbusiness (www.e-inbusiness.co.uk)

The redesign is the result of a review of Ryman’s user interface, identifying the need for a multichannel offering which responded to the eCommerce division’s commercial requirements. The updated homepage balances an improved promotional area incorporating both B2C and B2B promotions, local store visibility, product catalogue navigation, further online promotion and existing customer services. Primary navigation now includes both 'products' and 'services' to further promote the growing business and consumer services offered by Ryman.

Essence’s design was crafted to accommodate future integration and multichannel developments. The new site also provides Ryman with extensive content management functionality and enables sophisticated pricing control.
