Marin Software has today announced the appointment of Stephanie Carr to their European Exec Team. Stephanie, who joins as Commercial Director, will be heading up the company’s European Account Management team, and joins Marin having previously been Managing Director at The Search Works.

In the new role, Stephanie takes senior responsibility for developing Marin’s European client base as part of the planned expansion in 2011. She will lead the team that is responsible for client relationships, including those with agencies such as Neo@Ogilvy, Razorfish and TradeDoubler. Stephanie’s remit will also see her driving the development of new products including technology platforms for managing advertising campaigns on Facebook and other social networks. She will also advance Marin’s move into new areas like the performance display market.

Prior to joining The Search Works, Stephanie was a Managing Partner at Mindshare. She has also held senior roles working for Yahoo Search and Conde Nast.
