Browser Media has today issued a pledge to donate 10% of profits from new business to Help for Heroes.

The announcement coincides with the charity's third birthday and reflects Browser Media's support for the 16th Air Assault Brigade, which is based in Colchester and has recently deployed to Afghanistan.

Browser Media founder, Joe Friedlein, comments, "We are proud of our Colchester roots and personally knowing some of the brave men currently serving their country helps focus the mind on what is important in life. We would like to be able to make a contribution to the superb work that Help for Heroes does and are therefore making this pledge today.

Help for Heroes raises money to support members of the armed forces who have been wounded in the service of their country and we believe it is one of the most worthy charities in the UK today."

The pledge will run until April 2011 when the 16th Air Assault Brigade will be welcomed back to Colchester, although Browser Media intends to continue to support the charity in the future.
