SapientNitro has continued collecting industry accolades for its stand-out creative work for Auto Trader and Unilever by winning four top awards at the Campaign Big awards in London this week.

SapientNitro won two silver awards – the highest possible award for a category winner – for its innovative and popular iPhone application for Auto Trader, in the ‘Digital: Automotive, Aerospace & Marine’ and the ‘Direct: Automotive, Aerospace & Marine’ categories. It also claimed two silver awards for its Share Happy smile-activated Wall’s Ice Cream vending machine for Unilever, in the ‘Digital: Grocery, Soft Drinks & Household’ and the ‘Direct: Grocery, Soft Drinks & Household’ categories.

These are the latest in a series of award successes including topping New Media Age’s Top 100 Interactive Agency rankings for the fourth successive year, taking Cannes Lions, OMMA, MIXX and FWA awards, as well as winning a WebAward for VisitBritain.com. The Campaign Big Awards celebrate work created both in the UK and internationally. They were introduced to embrace creative and technology advancements and to showcase how agencies and clients solve problems in ever more holistic and creative ways. They are judged by representatives from clients and the advertising industry, and are considered one of the most credible barometers of creativity and innovation.

“SapientNitro’s London office is clearly on a winning streak in 2010 and it is amazing to be recognised for our creative work at an event with such pedigree and credibility as the Campaign Big awards”, said Malcolm Poynton, chief creative officer, Europe, SapientNitro. “In particular, the continued recognition for our work with Auto Trader in the increasingly relevant and exciting mobile space highlights our market leadership in this rapidly evolving area.”
