hybris, a leading multichannel commerce software vendor, has announced the appointment of Kees de Vos to the new role of Director of Business Consulting, enabling the company to bring even greater focus to the importance of multichannel opportunities for customer’s businesses.

Kees de Vos joins hybris after four years at retail consultancy, Javelin Group, where, as Director of Technology, he headed up a team providing strategic multichannel and eCommerce technology advice to customers, including leading international retailers, His involvement in retail and eCommerce began 10 years ago, when, as eCommerce Principal at Salmon, he was responsible for the design and delivery of multichannel platforms.

hybris established its Business Consulting practice in 2010 to deliver the best multichannel opportunities for its customers. As director of the practice, de Vos will work with clients to deliver strategic but pragmatic, business-focused advice to enable them to realise the maximum ROI on their investment. This will involve applying proven multichannel best practice, from business planning to post go-live operations and optimization.
