LONDON, UK, 25 February 2005 - ValueClick, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLK), the leading provider of digital marketing solutions, today announced the rebranding of its UK media business. Complete with a new corporate identity, vcmedia (formally ValueClick Media) will begin operating under its new brand forthwith.
The new name and identity reflects the evolution of ValueClick's media business over the last three years incorporating the exclusive sales representation of a number of premium sites including successful niche titles such as Brand Republic, The Number 118 118 and Delia Online. This brand advertising business complements the direct response business that ValueClick Media is renowned for, and as ValueClick continues to acquire and develop successful digital businesses, the media name change ensures a clear distinction between the media sales operation and the parent company.
ValueClick also announced today the appointment of Vanessa Kent as the new UK country manager for vcmedia. Vanessa's role will be to lead the continued growth of the media sales operation with a focus on developing the brand advertising business. Vanessa joined ValueClick in January 2004 as corporate development director.
