Karndean, the world's leading supplier of luxury design flooring, has announced a partnership with the Society for British Interior Design (SBID).

Following its successful networking event, at London's Material Lab - at which President of the SBID, Vanessa Brady, spoke - Karndean has kicked off the New Year by confirming a two year corporate society membership. This gives Karndean the opportunity to represent the specialist flooring sector to interior designers UK wide.

Alex Stock, Commercial Marketing Manager for Karndean, said:
"The SBID represents the highest level of interior design practice and we are thrilled to start 2011 with such a strong partnership in place.

“Championing the specialist flooring sector within the design and specification market will enable us to remain reactive to industry changes, ensuring product and service development is channelled to meet the needs of sector professionals.”

Working closely with the SBID, Karndean will draw on its experience as a RIBA accredited Continued Professional Development (CPD) provider, to develop a programme of CPD seminars for both experienced Interior designers and students studying industry relevant qualifications.

Since its incorporation in 2009, the SBID has promoted the profession through the highest levels of competence to offer consumers the very best in service and design.
