International affiliate network, Webgains, today announced the appointment of Stephen Kerin as Client Services Director. Stephen will be responsible for managing the UK account management team, building & strengthening affiliate partnerships and growing the business through strategic and tactical initiatives.

Stephen Kerin joins Webgains from competitor affiliate network Tradedoubler, where he was International Account Director. In his former role Stephen managed top-tier, high performing accounts such as eBay, Apple, Amex, lastminute.com, Disneyland Paris and Kelkoo across 19 countries. Stephen supervised a team of more than 50 people across Europe on these various programs.

Stephen has extensive business development experience holding sales positions at Infocheck (now Equifax), Unified Solutions Ltd and MIVA (UK) Ltd. Stephen is a seasoned public speaker and digital figurehead. In May 2006 he was elected as a Local Councillor in the London Borough of Merton and was appointed Lead Member for e-Government in 2006. He has served on several digital committees including two as Chairman.
