OMD UK Group announces today the appointment of Martin McDonald as Head of SEO. This follows the promotion of Mark Mitchell to Head of Search at Omnicom Media Group, UK.

Martin joins from Seatwave, the fan to fan ticket exchange, where he headed up SEO, PPC and social media across Europe. He also founded, one of the most visited SEO sites in the UK with over 10,000 members. He is a regular speaker on the SEO conference circuit and will be speaking at SMX Advanced in London in May and MozCon in Seattle in July.

Martin will take charge of the SEO offering across OMD UK and Manning Gottlieb OMD which has seen phenomenal growth over the last two years winning, most recently, EuropCar Group and Remington Group respectively.

He will report to Mark Mitchell, Head of Search, Omnicom Media Group, UK.
