Econsultancy has published a 2011 version of its highly popular Search Engine Optimization Best Practice Guide, known within the digital marketing industry as the ‘SEO Bible’.

The SEO guide contains everything you need to know about natural or organic search engine marketing, and is relevant for both in-company marketers and agency professionals.

The report contains more than 300 pages of actionable insights and tips, and is also broken down into eight smaller reports, covering some key areas of SEO such as on-page optimization and link-building, plus much more.

The guide, originally written by digital marketing author and trainer Dr Dave Chaffey, has been comprehensively updated to include the very latest guidance relating to social, mobile, local and multi-national search campaigns.

Jake Hird, Econsultancy’s Senior Research Analyst and one of the report’s editors, said: “Our SEO Best Practice Guide is often referred to as the SEO Bible in the industry, and we like to think of this as the New Testament.

“We have tapped into the expertise of some of the leading practitioners in the search marketing industry to make sure we have got the very latest thinking covering both well established and emerging areas of SEO.”

Contributors to the report include: Lee Colbran, Malcolm Coles, Teddie Cowell, Will Critchlow, Joe Friedlein, Andrew Girdwood, Neilson Hall, Jack Hubbard, Rishi Lakhani, Alex Moss, Lisa Myers, David Naylor, Kelvin Newman and Nichola Stott.

The report sections include:
