Econsultancy and A4u have this week launched the 2011 Affiliate Census aimed at the thousands of UK affiliates who drive billions of pounds in revenue for advertisers each year.

The research, sponsored by Commission Junction and Argos, follows similar reports published in 2007 and 2009.

Those affiliates completing the confidential online questionnaire will get access to a free copy of the resulting report (normally worth £250) when it is published in October.

The 10-minute survey is aimed only at affiliates operating in the UK marketplace.

Econsultancy’s Research Director Linus Gregoriadis said: “Since it was first launched four years ago, the Affiliate Census has become established as the most influential research available into the publishers who play such a vital role within the UK e-commerce environment. This year, we are excited to be running the census in partnership with the 65,000-strong Affiliates4u Community.”

The deadline for taking part in the survey is Friday 2nd September. The findings will be previewed in October this year at A4uexpo London, Europe’s largest affiliate and performance marketing conference.
