Scottish Power will continue to provide their customers with the ability to submit meter-readings via text message, reducing the need for estimated bills and so avoiding the build up of debt or over payment.

More convenient for customers than a telephone call, calling card, or knock on the door, the messaging service provides increased choice of communication and puts the customer in charge of providing the readings.
