Design UK announces partnership with WebTrends
Lava online marketing suite to provide industry leading customer management tool
2 February 2005 - Digital agency, Design UK and WebTrends, the web analytics market share leader and a business unit of NetIQ, have signed a partnership agreement, which will provide online marketers with a powerful new solution for managing their businesses through Design UK’s online marketing suite, Lava.
Under the terms of the agreement, Lava, which includes Content Management, Intranet/Extranet, Ecommerce and Email Marketing facilities in a single package will be integrated with the customer tracking tool WebTrends 7.
Design UK’s proprietary product, Lava, is currently utilised by high profile clients including Butlins, Diesel and Hackett. The inclusion of WebTrends 7 with its visual analytics functionality will provide users with market leading customer tracking and search engine optimisation capabilities in addition to the personalisation offered by Lava. The combination is a unique and powerful online business management tool, which provides a single view of the customer – without the need to integrate disparate software.
Leigh Whitney, Design UK’s director of operations says, “We are delighted to have reached this agreement with WebTrends. We are focused on the needs of marketing and business people, and the synergy of our solutions answers their need for an integrated and user friendly online marketing platform.
“Lava is now becoming a paradigm-shifting product. With the addition of WebTrends 7 we offer a complete online customer management tool in a single suite - without the need to resort to enterprise level products and at a fraction of the cost. The combined capability of our products is an intuitive, interactive solution which drives the best results in online marketing.”
Ian Tickle, regional sales manager, WebTrends adds, “With the increasing drive from customers for more insightful, intuitive and interactive web-based solutions, we are excited to be working with Design UK to offer a comprehensive management solution. Our clients needs have dramatically changed in the past 12 months and this relationship is another sign of WebTrends commitment to provide the business tools that are required to meet our clients’ strategic goals.”
The latest version of Lava 7.2 will be available in March. Design UK and WebTrends are exhibiting at the Technology for Marketing Show on 8th and 9th February on Stands E79 and E58 respectively.
