DBD Media (www.dbdmedia.co.uk), the specialist search marketing and social media agency, has been hired by Maybourne Hotel Group to manage the search engine optimisation (SEO) for the websites of its iconic London luxury hotels – Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley.

DBD Media will provide technical consultancy and devise and manage the SEO strategy for the three different hotel websites. Applying a combination of on-page optimisation and link building techniques, the agency’s approach will ensure that the hotels build and retain high natural visibility across Google and the other major search engines. DBD Media has begun work with Maybourne straight away, having won the work through a competitive pitch process.

Tom Thrussell, Head of Digital, CRM and Partnerships at Maybourne Hotel Group, comments: “We are becoming increasingly aware that online is central to any decision made around hotel choice. We realise that achieving good online visibility is fundamental to the growth of our business. The DBD Media team’s expertise in the hospitality and luxury sectors, as well as their transparent and performance-focused approach to SEO, meant that they stood out as the agency to work with. We have no doubt we will see a significant improvement in natural search visibility as a result of this investment.”

Nigel Muir, Managing Director of DBD Media, added: “We are very excited at the prospect of working with Maybourne Hotel Group. The company’s hotels have fantastic brand equity both in the UK and internationally, and we are encouraged by the importance the company is placing on driving growth through digital channels. We look forward to working closely with the team at Maybourne, achieving great results for them, and becoming a long-term strategic partner in the process.”
