Michelle Anderson, 38, has been appointed Marketing Manager at Shopzilla Europe and will be based in their London offices. This is a new role at Shopzilla Europe and the marketing programme will reach UK, French and German retailers. Shopzilla, the shopping search engine, drives traffic for online retailers and enables product reviews and provides customer insights.

Michelle will manage Shopzilla’s b2b merchant acquisition campaigns across Europe. She will report to the Sales and Marketing Director, Neil McCarthy, and work closely with Shopzilla’s PR consultants in the UK, Germany and France.

Michelle has previously worked at Xerox, RPS (Division of Esso), Penna Consulting and Sitel where she has worked in a variety of roles including business development and marketing.

Michelle’s claims to fame include receiving a medal from the Queen Mother for her Irish dancing and meeting with Stephen Fry in December when he filmed at her office in Newcastle for Planet Word, a BBC2 documentary about language.
