Coachwise, the trading arm of Sports Coach UK which is a UK-registered charity leading the development of coaching, have brought in PRWD to provide in-house training.

PRWD, the usability and conversion rate optimisation consultancy trusted by brands including Speedo, Lakeland and Manchester Tourist Board, delivered their popular and intensive usability and user experience training course.

Coachwise, whose clients include The FA, The Rugby Football Union and the England and Wales Cricket Board, are responsible for a portfolio of brand websites, both lead generation and e-commerce. They identified the area of usability as being one in which there is a significant opportunity to improve the return on investment they deliver. In addition Coachwise are currently planning to start the design and build of a new website, and they are aiming to adopt a user-centered design approach – a key area covered in the training course.

Eight members of the Coachwise marketing team attended the in-house training session, including their Head of Marketing, Marketing and Mail Order Director and their Communications Manager.

Following the training course one of the attendees, Marketing Planner Rob Ma’aye, commented:

“All I ask of any training course is to come away with one idea/bit of information that will help me do my job better. I came away with so much more! Armed with a helpful 160 page report, a host of free links to even more relevant information I can use, and 4 sides of paper of my own notes with numerous ideas I can put into practice that I would not have got without going on this course. This was an excellent training course.”

Sally Ward, Recruitment and Training Manager at Coachwise, commented:

“I had been provided with PRWD’s information from a colleague within Marketing and it was a pleasure dealing with them to set up this training. They were both friendly and professional and delivered a first class training course to our staff. We would definitely use them again.”

Paul Rouke, Head of Usability at PRWD, delivered the training course and commented:

“Whether I deliver this course in-house for clients or publicly on behalf of Econsultancy, the course content is always guaranteed to provide attendees with a large amount of insights, tips and recommendations which they can use both immediately and over the longer term. I particularly enjoy delivering in-house training as I get to understand how the business operates and the roles and responsibility of the attendees.

It was a genuine pleasure to work with the Coachwise team and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
