Company strengthens position as the sole email and cross-channel marketing platform focused on retailers

Durham, NC – October 24, 2011 - Bronto Software, the leading marketing platform for retailers and other commerce-focused companies, announced today that the company experienced significant third quarter growth in revenue and customer wins. Bronto also reported rapid employee growth to accommodate the company’s growing roster of top e-commerce and multi-channel retailer clients.

In the third quarter Bronto welcomed aboard a steady stream of new retailer and commerce-focused clients seeking an integrated approach for growing their revenue through email, social and mobile marketing. Top brands such Asics, Deb Shops, Tervis Tumbler, CD Wow!, Brooks Running and Neutrogena joined Bronto’s client portfolio. New client growth and expanding business in existing accounts fueled significant revenue increases for Bronto. The Company’s Q3 2011 revenue increased by 44% and annual contract value was up 50% versus Q3 2010.

Bronto stepped up hiring in pace with its rapid customer and revenue growth. The company reached 100 employees in Q3 and added 16 more staff members to close the quarter with a total of 116 employees. Bronto plans to continue this pace of employee growth in Q4. In addition, Bronto completed the first phase of its 2011 office space build-out, increasing headquarters office space by 48% to 22,000 square feet and redesigning the entire office in the process.

• Strategic partnerships - Bronto announced a strategic partnership with four other best in-breed e-commerce technology companies - Magento, MyBuys, Power Reviews and Lyons Consulting Group. Together known as E5, the partnership offers a one-stop solution for e-commerce marketing.

Ranked at 1377 out of the nation's fastest-growing private companies, Bronto also ranked at number 108 in the software category and number five among software companies in North Carolina.
