Paid search specialist shortlisted for ‘Innovation in PPC’ Award for second year running

Net Media Planet, the paid search marketing specialist, has been shortlisted for the Innovation in PPC category in the 2012 Econsultancy Innovation awards – a category that it won last year for its work with The Perfume Shop.

The shortlisted entry this year details how Net Media Planet enabled Papa John’s Pizza to increase average order values by challenging conventional wisdom surrounding the use of discount offers in PPC. This innovative, challenger approach encouraged Papa John’s to be more experimental and creative with its PPC, which in turn improved effectiveness as well as average order values.

Sri Sharma, managing director at Net Media Planet commented: “It’s fantastic to be shortlisted again this year. I’m really proud of the team and all the great work that they have done to win us this nomination, particularly the work they’ve done for Papa John’s. This clearly demonstrates the drive and determination that underpins our approach to PPC as well as our ability to keep coming up with new and ground-breaking ideas in a constantly shifting market and I look forward to seeing what the judges thought of the campaign in February.”
