We are pleased to announce that Valtech has been nominated in the ‘Innovation in Social Media’ category for our Facebook Commerce Solution at the prestigious Econsultancy Innovation Awards 2012. The Valtech Facebook Commerce Solution is a social media innovation allowing administrators of traditional enterprise scale e-commerce and content management systems, to manage products displayed on both traditional channels but also within Facebook from the same platform.
The award is an industry favourite, celebrating pioneers of the global digital community working towards changing the way that digital marketing is done. We are proud to be shortlisted following over 450 entries from organisations around the globe.
Being shortlisted for this award concludes a very successful year for Valtech in the field of social commerce. Our article in The Guardian about “Simplifying Facebook Commerce” relayed our successful launch of a Facebook Beauty Store for Oriflame. Companies have also flocked to see us speak at eCommerce conferences or joined our regular web presentations and demonstrations of our Facebook Commerce Solution.
Chris Lake, Director of Innovation at Econsultancy said: "A commitment to innovation is so important in modern business. Creative thinking and experimentation can help companies to adapt in accordance with emerging consumer trends."
Lake continued: "The Innovation Awards allow us to see what's new, what's working, and which companies are ahead of the curve. 2011 has been a tremendous year for innovation.
Being selected as finalists for this award shows that our work is recognised by the industry leaders as an innovative solution in the digital marketing and e-commerce space. We are very proud to be nominated and look forward to releasing further social commerce innovations in 2012.
Phil Hall, Managing Director at Valtech comments:
“At Valtech we combine engineering muscles and creative results in a very unique way. We are delighted to be a finalist in the Econsultancy Innovation Awards as this supports and recognises our pioneering ideas and innovative solution."
The Econsultancy Innovation Awards winners will be announced on the 23rd February 2012 in London at the Hilton Park Lane.
