Los Angeles, California- (February 9, 2012)- MediaTrust, a leading digital performance-marketing firm based in New York and Los Angeles, has promoted two MediaTrust executives from within. Joe Hopkins, Chief Software Architect of MediaTrust’s Performance Exchange, is newly appointed Vice President of Engineering, leading the engineering department in developing MediaTrust’s PerformanceExchange—a real-time, high performance, scalable, cloud based technology platform for performance marketing. Karbis Fodulyan, online advertising veteran, has been named Vice President of Monetization and Strategic Account Management. Fodulyan will be responsible for managing monetization, market making strategy, business execution, and the account management organization.

The promotions of these two individuals mark MediaTrust’s commitment towards the continued success and growth of its PerformanceExchange—a real-time CPC bid exchange that connects direct response and lead generation advertisers to potential consumers through email and online advertisements. Having grown from zero to a multi-million dollar business in under a year, the MediaTrust PerformanceExchange has proven itself as a platform to watch as online advertisement spending in 2012 continues to skyrocket.

“Both Karbis and Joe were key contributors of the launch and early success of the PerformanceExchange,” said Keith Cohn, President and CEO of MediaTrust. “And in their newly expanded leadership roles, we are confident the PerformanceExchange will continue to thrive and deliver great value to our customers. Their expertise and experience within their respective fields sets us up for success as we continue to scale the PerformanceExchange to meet the growing demand of online advertising.”

As VP of Engineering and Chief Software Architect of the MTPX, Joe Hopkins will lead engineering team in the development of the PerformanceExchange. Mr. Hopkins will work closely with COO and VP of Product, Dave Coburn, to expand and enhance the MTPX’s features and capabilities.

“We have a very dedicated and talented engineering team whose tireless work has made the PerformanceExchange possible,” said Joe Hopkins. “And it’s an honor to lead a team with such drive and innovation. We are confident that as we continue to add new features and functionalities, the PerformanceExchange will continue to climb the ladder as a market leader. As the new VP of Engineering, I look forward to leading the team that will deliver the technology required to achieve our business goals.”

In his role as VP of Monetization and Strategic Account Management, Karbis Fodulyan will manage strategy and monetization for both the Email and Managed Content channels of the PerformanceExchange. Mr. Fodulyan’s responsibilities include leading the account management organization, driving strategic/business planning and analysis initiatives, and managing advertiser and publisher performance quality. With the rapid growth of MTPX, Mr. Fodulyan will spearhead continued channel development, vertical growth and diversification, price strategies, partner retention, and staff development.

“The MediaTrust PerformanceExchange has quickly become a market leader in the performance marketing space as a premier CPC bidding platform,” said Karbis Fodulyan. “Our rapid growth and industry presence is a testament to our ability to connect consumers to direct response advertisers, expanding reach beyond search with Email and Managed Content, where performance quality comes first, and cost-efficiently. This positions us exceptionally well for the continued channel development, expansion of vertical offerings, and growth of our partner relationships. I’m thrilled to contribute to these initiatives in a larger capacity, working closely with a remarkably talented team and our valued customers.”
