9th February 2012 – Mobile ad network Greystripe, part of ValueClick Media, the world leading media solutions company, today revealed the results of the first campaign to utilise the Mobile Booster display ad format in the UK. The campaign, promoting GALAXY Note Flask-kick events, ran across nine markets globally, securing an overall click through rate of 1.7%, three times the average for mobile advertising campaigns.

Greystripe is the first network in the UK to offer Mobile Booster adverts – formats that utilise additional space surrounding a full screen mobile display advert with social media buttons and branded banners. This is designed to encourage sharing as consumers can click through to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, linking mobile advertising with online campaigns allowing marketers to fully integrate all marketing platforms.

Olympic advertiser, Samsung, used Mobile Booster ads for the global launch of their Project Teamwork campaign, a branded content series showing how Samsung Mobile technology improves sports. The mobile element of the campaign was designed to increase traffic to a 12-part series of Samsung YouTube videos as well as encouraging followers on Facebook and Twitter.

The results included:
• Overall click through rate of 1.7%
• UK click through rate of 2.36%
• Over 31,000 clicks delivered with almost 2million impressions
• Of these clicks, over 43% clicked onto the Samsung Twitter, 38% to YouTube and 17% to Facebook
• 63.28% of those reaching the Samsung Project Teamwork YouTube channel watched the entire video
