Digital consultancy, Livelink has launched a complete multi-channel digital marketing campaign for modular building specialist, Elliott Modular Buildings. The website, which has been launched to support Refurb or Rebuild LIVE ! (the competition for schools that Elliott’s sponsors) was built by the digital expert’s team in just four days and is expected to receive a high number of visitors in the coming weeks as the countdown to the final stage of the competition begins.

The prize for the two winning primary and secondary schools is a classroom – including furniture and fittings – worth £100,000. The final part of the competition, which is run in conjunction with the Building Future Education (BFE) Conference and Exhibition, takes place at the Business Design Centre in London on 9th and 10th May 2012 so, with those dates in place, Elliott needed the project to be completed as soon as possible.

The website has been designed to encourage parents and governors to lobby their head teachers to sign up to the competition which fosters childrens’ design and creativity skills and develops their understanding of the built environment.
Multi-channel marketing expert Livelink has developed a social media strategy to engage head teachers by addressing all relevant influencers, including parents, governors, educationalists and council members, using routes such as a facebook application and facebook advertising and riding the wave of popular forums such as mumsnet to make best use of further advertising spend.
Twitter is being used as part of the ongoing campaign with the announcement of the competition to mums’ groups and prominent ‘mum’ bloggers made via this route in order to spread the message as widely and as quickly as possible. Livelink has also incorporated its automated, emarketing platform KeepinTouch into the website to ensure that all competition entries are completed on time. Successful channels are immediately identified as referral paths are measured using the most sophisticated software.
