RedEye is delighted to announce it won ‘Best Use of Email’ for its work with The Avis Budget Group on a campaign for Budget Rent-A-Car at the 2012 Revolution Awards.

The award commended RedEye and Avis for the Customer Behaviour Campaign; a highly targeted automated email campaign devised around the behaviour of online users. Based on information the customer disclosed when registering, emails were created to contain relevant advice and information to each individual customer.

The judges commended the campaign for taking users on an unexpectedly good journey that proved a resounding success. The campaign was praised for seeing Budget whitelisted and contributing to doubling year on year revenue.

Matthew Kelleher, Commercial Director at RedEye said, “We are delighted to win this prestigious award. Budget is a fantastic client to work with; they really understand the importance of looking at the online behaviour of their users and responding to this. We are extremely proud of the customer behaviour campaign.”

Darren Peacock, Marketing and Communications Manager at Avis Budget UK said, “Email marketing has become a huge part of the business for Budget, and we are overjoyed to have an award to commend the work we have done.

“We are extremely pleased with the work we do with RedEye. The company not only provide excellent designs, but have helped us implement a revenue building campaign that improves customer relations as well as ROI. Most importantly, with the potential to be rolled out long term, we’re very excited about continuing to work together.”
