Acxiom Corporation, the NASDAQ-listed leader in marketing services and technology, today announced the appointment of Christian Peck as vice president and managing director for Acxiom United Kingdom.

As managing director, Peck will report to US-based Acxiom Chief Revenue Officer Nada Stirratt and will lead the entire Acxiom UK enterprise, with oversight of product, sales, delivery and all operations in the country. He will be responsible for driving marketing and data services revenue, focusing on innovation, programme development and client satisfaction while ensuring a consistent global product framework that aligns resources and reporting structures.

Prior to joining Acxiom, Christian held the position of VP Business Operations, Technology and Products at AOL Europe, where he managed a team of more than 700 associates.

Additionally, Christian has held leadership roles with Microsoft, Zed Media, and WWAV RAPP Collins. In his most recent role as managing director at ad pepper media, Peck implemented a long-term client-centric approach that revitalised the company and delivered record profitability.

“Christian’s appointment brings fresh thinking and digital perspective to our operations in the United Kingdom,” Stirratt said. “His deep online media experience and strong relationships in the region will help advance our client-centric focus and product innovation, which are key drivers for Acxiom’s global growth strategy.”

“Acxiom’s focus on serving the needs of our clients fits perfectly with my business philosophy,” Peck said. “I am a firm believer that business success only comes from the strength of relationships with its customers, and that an individual’s success comes from involvement and support within a team.”

Peck is the latest digital media expert to join Acxiom’s top ranks as part of the company’s strategy to become a powerhouse in marketing and data services that profitably serve the largest global markets.

In addition to Stirratt, a former Myspace and AOL executive, who joined the company in February, Warren Jenson, former CFO of Electronic Arts, Amazon.com, Delta Air Lines and NBC, was hired as Acxiom’s chief financial officer and executive vice president, and Dr. Phil Mui, formerly of Google, came on board in May as chief product and engineering officer.
