LONDON, UK, 25 JUNE 2012 – Lisa Arthur, the CMO of Aprimo®, a Teradata company (NYSE:TDC) and a global leader in cloud-based integrated marketing solutions, received the Stevie Award for Marketing Executive of the Year last week in New York City. The American Business Awards cited Arthur’s industry leadership and Aprimo’s successes in naming her the Gold Winner for Marketing Executive of the Year.
“We’re tremendously proud of what Lisa and her team have done over the last year to make Aprimo the leader in integrated marketing management (IMM),” said Bob Boehnlein, president of Aprimo. “Recognitions like this reflect the dedication of the entire company to help customers revolutionize their marketing organizations and improve sales. And now that Teradata, Teradata Aster and Aprimo have added eCircle to the family, the future looks even brighter.”
Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” by the New York Post when they started in 2002, the American Business Awards are the first national, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. Nicknamed the SteviesTM for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards were announced at banquet in New York City on June 18th. Aprimo Sales and Customer Service won a Gold Stevie in 2012 for updates to its revolutionary marketing solutions.
In addition to winning the Marketing Executive of the Year award, Arthur was named one of the Sales Lead Marketing Association’s Women to Watch in sales lead management for both 2011 and 2012. She successfully helped Aprimo navigate through its acquisition by Teradata in 2011 and Teradata’s recent acquisition of eCircle, the European leader in cloud-based digital marketing. Arthur has also championed numerous disruptive marketing ideas, including the importance of the CMO-CIO relationship and Intelligent 1:1 Marketing, a form of IMM that incorporates digital channels, physical prompts and real-time demand chain data to create a revolutionary customer experience.
Arthur promotes her industry-leading ideas through frequent speaking engagements and her blog, The Marketing Revolution, on Forbes.com.
