London, 5th September 2012 – Mediaplex, a ValueClick.Inc company, today announces that Sean Walker has joined as Mediaplex UK Sales Director. This appointment follows a major re-brand for Mediaplex and highlights the rapid growth of the company who are focusing on powering the online marketing efforts of blue chip brands worldwide.

The ad serving industry has been under scrutiny in recent months with the evolution of stack marketing and the integration of point solutions as well as the rise of DSP and RTB. Mediaplex however is growing in the industry and integrating superior technology with high level consultation to provide high rewards for its clients.

Sean brings over 12 years of experience in the online marketplace to the team. Prior to joining Mediaplex, he was the general manager of Yahoo! Vertical Markets and was the first person in the UK to provide paid for search listings to mobile users. He remained at Yahoo! for eight years developing vertical sales teams for web and mobile as well as spearheading international partnerships across Japan, US and EMEA markets.
