London, 20 September 2012
Tradedoubler is delighted to announce today’s event, Connect 2012, which is taking place at King’s Place, London. This occasion provides an insight into the evolving world of m-commerce, e-commerce and affiliate marketing, for more than 200 of the international performance marketing leaders’ clients and partners.
Connect 2012 will see industry experts debate the economic, demographic, consumer and technological trends that impact the way consumers interact with brands today and in the future.
Representatives attending from high profile brands at the forefront of digital marketing include Tesco, Jessops, Waterstones, Expedia, HP and Virgin Atlantic. Louise Dorow, Head of Loyalty at O2 Media, Liam Downes ecommerce Marketing Manager at The Body Shop and Alex Kozloff from the IAB will also take part on a panel about mobile commerce.
Two presentations look towards the future: from Paul Flatters, Chief Executive, the Trajectory Partnership talking about ‘The Millenial Generation’ and from Mel Carson, digital marketing raconteur and co-author of soon to be published book, ‘Pioneers of Digital’, who will reveal his ‘Tales of the Digitally Unexpected’.
Tradedoubler experts will also outline the latest developments on mobile commerce; diversifying publisher traffic; private network technology and how to expand affiliate programmes internationally, exploring how the affiliate model is evolving.
Dan Cohen, UK & Ireland, Market Unit Leader, said: “Affiliate marketing is of growing importance to marketers who are facing a perfect storm of difficult economic circumstances, fast-moving advancements in technology and evolving population trends - all of which change the ways consumers interact with media, with advertising and the way that they shop.
“We’re hoping that by spending the day with us at Connect 2012, marketers will be better able to navigate their way,” continued Cohen.
