28 September 2012, London, UK. Business communication specialist Banner Managed Communication (BMC) has appointed Barry McPhillips as Creative & Multi-Channel Solutions Director. McPhillips will report direct to BMC’s MD Catherine Burke and will join her senior management team.

This appointment is a reflection of the steep rise that BMC is seeing in client demand for digital and multi-channel solutions. It is also another important step in BMC long-term strategy to enable clients to manage all their out-sourced customer communications through a single provider.

McPhillips has more than two decades’ senior client and agency side experience, spanning advertising, marketing and creative services roles. During this time, he has helped position and launch many of the world’s best-known brands. Much of his early career was spent with advertising giant TBWA. He then spent 10 years at Communisis, first as General Manager, Creative Services, then Marketing Services Director. Most recently he spent 18 months providing consultancy services to a variety of well-known B2B and B2C brands.
