16 October 2012, Shanghai -- Econsultancy has today announced its first best practice guide for the largest search engine portal in China. The ‘Baidu Best Practice Guide’ was created in partnership with China Search International, and provides an impartial guide for marketers to understand how the Baidu ecosystem really works.

The Baidu guide announcement coincides with Econsultancy’s first ever digital marketing event in China: ‘Digital Cream Shanghai’. Based on the highly successful global event format designed expressly for senior digital marketers by Econsultancy, the event takes place on 18 October 2012 at the M1NT Club.

Ashley Friedlein, CEO and co-founder of Econsultancy, will be keynoting Digital Cream Shanghai 2012. His presentation will cover the ‘Future of Digital Marketing.’ It will highlight some of the most transformative changes undergoing digital marketing globally and provide his personal insights into some of the key trends that marketers need to be aware of including the rise of customer experience, the integration of digital and physical, and the implications of data-driven decision making.
