London, November 2012 - eCircle, a Teradata company (NYSE: TDC) and Europe’s biggest supplier of online marketing services, has been shortlisted alongside its client Transport for London (TfL) for two Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Awards for their work to keep London moving during the 2012
Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The campaign used sophisticated data selection to create targeted emails which could be used to directly communicate with daily commuters and direct them to the TfL website, where they could plan their journeys to avoid travel hotspots.
As a result of the email messages, 35% of Londoners made changes to their travel, reducing traffic in central London by around 15% during the Games.

The DMA Awards celebrate legendary creativity, game-changing strategies, world-leading technology and revolutionary solutions.

TfL and eCircle have been shortlisted in both the one off “Best Summer of Sport“ and the B2C categories.
