Instant-play video format and customised reporting highlight Platform upgrade.
Eyeblaster, the leader in rich media advertising technology, has launched a new instant-play video banner format and customisable reporting templates among the many enhancements within version 5.8, the company’s latest upgrade of its award-winning Rich Media Platform.
Eyeblaster has extended its innovative range of video formats with VideoStrip, an expandable banner video format. Using a custom Flash component, it can deliver instant plays without the need for user interaction. Upon rollover or click, the video expands to its full size, remaining perfectly in sync as it fills a full-sized expanded panel. User interaction with the VideoStrip also triggers the audio within the ad. This powerful format gives advertisers both a chance to instantly reach all of their target audience and a unique creative opportunity to easily enhance narrow banner units with video and interactivity.

Custom Reports Builder
Eyeblaster has responded to growing client demand for complete control over reporting with its Custom Reports Builder. This gives agencies and publishers much more freedom over content and presentation of reports – enabling conformity to standard agency templates.
Ideal for marketers using multiple third-party companies, customised report templates eliminate workflow obstacles resulting from incompatible report structures, making it easier than ever to integrate Eyeblaster reporting data with other ad serving reports.

Eyeblaster’s Rich Media Platform version 5.8 includes Beta support for the Mac’s Safari browser. This enables ads to be created on the Safari browser within the administrative interface.
