The Entertainer, one of the UK’s leading toy retailers with 68 high street stores and a thriving online presence, has launched a best-of-breed transactional website to support its multichannel strategy and its plans to grow the business significantly online over the next five years, both in the UK and internationally through a collaboration of key digital partners.

The new multichannel functionality includes:

• Proactive order tracking – following the order from online checkout to a signature at the customer’s front door with over 30 actable checkpoints.
• 30 minute click and collect – buy online and goods available to collect in-store within 30 minutes.
• “Order anywhere, despatch anywhere” – Customers have access to the full Entertainer range in-store and online, with Home Delivery orders despatched from both the warehouse and stores

The new site was developed and built by neoworks based on the hybris Multichannel Suite and integrated with The Retail Suite from Itim. Digital strategy agency Red Ant worked closely with neoworks to design a compelling user experience.
