LONDON: Cambridge is one of the world’s leading universities, regularly attaining a
Number 1 spot in the global rankings of most elite academic institutions. BrightLemon is
very proud to announce the win of a major contract to re-build their main website and
develop a platform that will power the vast network of University of Cambridge sites.
University of Cambridge initially called on BrightLemon to work on the build of their
Unified Administrative Service (UAS) in 2012.
Cambridge University has over 100 academic departments with more than 430 live sites
all of which are built by various web teams with different coding languages on different
platforms.

BrightLemon will bring these sites together using Drupal 7 and under the design
direction of London agency Head to create a platform from which a comprehensive and
consistent digital offering can be created across all websites under the Cambridge
University banner.
BrightLemon Director Leon Tong said: “This is a fantastic moment for BrightLemon.
Cambridge University is one of the world’s top brands in academic education and rebuilding their site is a major responsibility. We are really proud to be the ones chosen to
take it on. Our team are very excited and can’t wait to get started”

Cambridge University Web Services Manager, Dr Nick Martin said: “We are looking to
BrightLemon to help us adopt best practices in web content management, online
community building and mobile delivery and to make key University content easy to
manage for the many editors across a number of websites.”
