Latest Expedia brand to join Tradedoubler network
London – 18 March 2013
Venere.com, the online reservation specialist is expanding its affiliate marketing campaign strategy through Tradedoubler, the international performance marketing and technology company. Tradedoubler is launching venere.com affiliate programs in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain in a move which reflects the increasing reliance of consumers on Internet sites to research and book their travel.
Research1. shows that online travel agents (OTAs) are leading the surge in the growth of Europe’s online travel market, increasing bookings by nearly 22 per cent in contrast to supplier websites’ 15 per cent gain. It is estimated that OTAs outpaced the hotel bookings market by 14 per cent in 2012 and, although the pace of growth is expected to slow due to economic conditions, it is still expected to grow by nearly eight per cent in 2014.
Venere’s technology allows for real-time pricing and room availability information to be posted across many of the 140,000 active publishers in Tradedoubler’s leading network, maximising its reach across Europe. Quick integration and easy access to Venere’s ever-growing property portfolio and latest special deals allows publishers, both large and small, to monetise content and links for accommodation all over the world.
Spyros Assonitis, Director Global Marketing, Venere.com, says: “Customers are moving online to book their travel and accommodation and our offering is proving attractive. But in this highly competitive marketplace, working with a trusted and truly international partner known for its ability to generate new revenues is essential for us.
