Now in its fourth fabulous year, the CANNT Festival will take place in London from the 17th to the 21st of June 2013.
Founded by Simon Gill, Executive Creative Director at LBi and Laura Jordan-Bambach, Creative Director at Dare, CANNT Festival aims to bring together those industry folk who can’t make it over to the Croisette, giving them a small taste of the creative love-in of Cannes. It’s a weeklong celebration of all things creative, taking place across a wide range of London venues.
The theme for this year’s festival is Camp CANNT. Like summer camp, it’s all about trying new things, meeting new people and being mischievous. The week of fun activities, all hosted at CANNT’s partner agencies, will allow attendees to break out of the ordinary and dip their toes in unknown paddling pools of creativity.
Camp CANNT will also have its own answer to Cannes’ infamous Gutter Bar: the Campfire. The Campfire will be hosted in a conveniently placed pub and will act as a central meeting point where everyone gets together to share a few drinks and a few tales of the fun they’ve had.
Some of London’s biggest creative agencies and companies, including LBi, Dare, Albion, Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, Jelly London and Hyper Island have already signed up to take part.
Camp CANNT follows on from the success of last year’s festival, which saw 10 agencies hosting a bevy of events including CANNT Crufts, a lunchtime dance-off and a BBQ battle for the best grilled sausage.
