announces the launch of its new mobile-optimised website. It has been built on top of their new platform which means it has the full functionality of the desktop site.

Following best practise guidelines, the mobile site utilises many optimisation techniques to ensure fast response times. The site also has a new ajax search which utilises HTML5 local storage.

The mobile site has a range of newly added features to support their merchant’s own mobile efforts, in that merchants who have a transactional mobile site are clearly identified with an easy to spot icon.

Barnes added "By clearly showing which merchant sites are in turn mobile optimised, we allow customers to make an informed decision about which merchant to shop with. If there are two similar voucher codes, the customer can choose the merchant with a mobile site and will most likely enjoy a better shopping experience".

The new mobile site can also support single use voucher codes, video integration, personalised content and download links for merchants own mobile apps. On top of everything, the site can also handle mobile only codes that do not show on the main desktop site, giving merchants the opportunity to work strategically with NetVoucherCodes, purely on mobile traffic driving campaigns.
