Digital marketing agency I-COM (www.i-com.net) has worked closely with solicitors JMW (www.jmw.co.uk) to deliver a 97% increase in website instructions and a 148% increase in fees generated for the Manchester law firm from its online marketing.
These impressive figures have contributed to a 13% increase in year on year fee income, despite continuing economic difficulties and government legislation with serious repercussions for the UK’s legal industry.
The law firm identified particularly strong results for its family, private client, clinical negligence and personal injury departments, all of which I-COM had singled out as key target areas for growth in its 2012/3 marketing plan.
Both the clinical negligence and personal injury departments enjoyed their best ever years, whilst the family department saw fee income rise by 120% and private client revenues were up by 57%.
Between them, the family and private client departments contributed £1m to JMW’s record £15m annual fee income.
Senior partner, Joy Kingsley, said: "Our success in services offered online to both business and private clients has been even greater than expected.
"We continue to adapt to the changing legal landscape and have many different projects which we hope will enable us to perform considerably better than the market over the forthcoming year.”
Kingsley went on to add that the firm is always keen to exploit new technologies as a method of generating new business.
Mike Blackburn, I-COM’s Managing Director, said: “It’s incredibly gratifying when a client reports such great results as a direct result of the work we’ve done.
“It validates the power of activities like SEO, social media and pay-per-click as marketing tools, which, even now, are treated with suspicion in some sectors.
“These results are testament to JMW’s inherently forward-thinking nature and commitment to exploring new technologies as a means of staying ahead of the rest of the market and continuing to grow despite difficult circumstances.”
I-COM and JMW Solicitors will continue to work together through 2013 in an effort to produce even better results in the 2013/14 financial year.
I-COM works with a number of organisations in the legal sector including compensation claim business YouClaim (www.youclaim.co.uk).
