Acxiom, an enterprise data, analytics and software as a service company, today announces further investment in its business through the appointment of former Aon European Managing Director Jon Higgins as Senior Managing Account Director. He reports to Christian Peck, MD, Acxiom UK & France.
In the newly created role, Higgins will oversee all of Acxiom’s UK client business and take personal responsibility for Acxiom’s financial services clients - including Santander, American Express, More Th>n and Axa-SunLife Direct. Higgins will also lead new business services sales across all industries.
His appointment is the latest in a series of initiatives at Acxiom UK, part of its strategy designed to showcase offline and digital data products to blue-chip companies across a range of key sectors.
Christian Peck, Managing Director of Acxiom UK & France, said: “Jon’s appointment underlines our commitment to invest not only in our products but also great people. Jon has vast client management and sales experience that I’m sure will bring great value to our clients not only in the financial services sector he knows so well, but across all sectors. During 23 years at Aon, Higgins ultimately ran the business’s European Mergers & Acquisitions team, covering corporates and the private equity community. Higgins said: “It was becoming increasingly apparent to me that all companies, regardless of sector, have to up their game to stay connected and close to their customers across the growing mass of channels and devices. It was equally apparent that data is the enabler and Acxiom is a real leader in helping brands recognise, understand and engage their customers across every touchpoint. I’m really excited about what we can do to help bring brands and consumers closer together.”
