Newly appointed global Chief Operating Officer will bring agency and brand expertise to marketing technology firm

NEW YORK – August 1, 2013 – IgnitionOne, a global leader in cloud-based digital marketing technology, has appointed Jonathan (John) Ragals as Global Chief Operating Officer. John joins the management team of the newly independent company, and will provide his expertise in leveraging the IgnitionOne Digital Marketing Suite technology to benefit both advertising agencies and brand marketers.

John brings to the IgnitionOne team deep experience across all facets of digital marketing. Most recently he was Chief of Network Development for Dentsu Network, one of the fastest growing advertising groups in the world. Prior to this, John served as Chief Operating Officer of 360i for 6 years. During his tenure at 360i, John helped lead the explosive growth from a specialty search marketing agency of less than 50 people to a 400+ person, leading full service digital firm working with such brands as Fisher-Price, Enterprise, CapitalOne and JCPenney, expanding media under management at the Agency to over $400m during his time there.

A pioneer in the space, John was also one of the first executives at Modem Media, one of the world’s first digital agencies. There, he led the team that designed, developed and maintained Delta Air Lines’ first electronic commerce platform which went on to sell billions of dollars of tickets in the first few years – a record breaking amount at the time. Later in his career, John ran some of the biggest pieces of direct digital marketing business for Beyond Interactive, then a Mediacom company.

As COO, John will oversee the delivery of operational excellence across IgnitionOne’s current 13 global offices as the company continues its expansion into new regions. John will also provide leadership in enhancing IgnitionOne technology and services delivered through the Digital Marketing Suite platform.
