Leeds-based online marketing and ecommerce development agency Blueclaw was awarded the Best Web & Digital Development Services company at the 2014 ECMOD Direct Commerce Supplier of the Year Awards.
The awards recognised a range of ecommerce suppliers, with ECMOD and CatEx Direct Commerce representing European retailers in the catalogue and online retail sectors. Blueclaw’s ecommerce (www.blueclawecommerce.co.uk) team faced stiff competition to claim the prize as each winner was selected by the number of client nominations received, with over 300 nominations in total across the various categories.
Blueclaw builds ecommerce sites for a range of businesses, from established companies to start-ups, using the Magento platform. The company’s client list includes Jewson, Greenhouse Sensation (www.greenhousesensation.co.uk), Chapelle (www.chapelle.co.uk) and Just A Soap (www.justasoap.co.uk). Alongside site development and maintenance, the team has also developed its own range of Magento modules.
Director James Holmes said: “Unlike other awards the ECMOD Supplier awards are based purely upon nominations from clients, so it is gratifying to be shortlisted and ultimately win.
“The award is testament to the long-lasting relationships we have nurtured, and the quality of service we offer to clients.”
The ceremony took place during the ECMOD Direct Commerce Live show at London’s Olympia Conference Centre.
Founded in 2005, Blueclaw offers ecommerce website development, paid and organic search marketing, and social media marketing.
