NEW YORK (October 24, 2013) – Essence, a leading digital agency, today announced the appointment of Jeremy Sigel to the newly created role of Client Director, Mobile, effective immediately. In this role, based in San Francisco, he is charged with spearheading Google’s mobile marketing efforts in North America to promote the company’s products and services.

Sigel has been a digital media veteran for the majority of his professional career, bringing a unique perspective to the mobile landscape given his attention to the user experience. Most recently, he led the development and execution of global mobile marketing strategies and campaigns for Nokia where he was responsible for increasing brand consideration and driving downloads from the app store. Previously, he was responsible for marketing and client strategy at Linkstorm, a rich media advertising technology vendor. Sigel also developed and launched his own social networking iPhone application called 11:11Wish.
