Acquisition brings fully integrated e-commerce capabilities to Sitecore’s experience platform

London – November 21st 2013 – Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management software, today announced that it has acquired Sitecore’s acquisition lays the foundation for the industry’s first .NET based, enterprise-grade Customer Experience Management (CXM) platform with a native, fully integrated e-commerce engine.

The integration of e-commerce functionality with Sitecore’s leading experience platform allows marketers to truly own the experience they deliver to every customer or prospect that engages with their brand, creating high value customers for life.

Existing customers will have the option of utilising a deep integration between Commerce Server and Sitecore’s platform or a standalone Commerce Server product that will continue to be supported by Sitecore.
