Innovative digital marketing company RocketMill has won the Gatwick Diamond Business Award for Digital Marketing Business of the Year.
The Awards were hosted by Tim Vine at the iconic Effingham Park Hotel, in front of an audience of 600 top business people in the Diamond. The Awards dinner was the culmination of hundreds of hours of hard work by the sponsors, judges, organisers and the entrants themselves.
A Faultless Entry from RocketMill
“RocketMill stood out from the others by a mile even at the first review stage,” said Nick Broom, MD of Preview Group, one of the sponsors of the Awards. “We couldn’t find fault at any point on any aspect of the entry; the forms, the backup, the interview, EVERYTHING was absolutely spot on. Great people, great culture, great projects.”

Tough Competition from a Record Number of Entries
The Awards saw a record number of entries this year, with over 120 entrants across 14 categories. “There was also a record number of attendees, all who came along to reflect on and recognise the quality, diversity and achievement of some outstanding businesses and the people who work in them,” said Jeremy Taylor, founder of the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards.
“The competition this year was very hotly contested and there were any number of businesses that, in any other year, could have been winners,” continued Taylor. So much so that some of the judges asked if some of the entries that didn't make the final three could be recognised. Taylor hopes that those who didn't make the final cut will try again next year.
Several of the entrants have been approached by the judging companies, with a view to working with them, which means local businesses are now supplying some of the biggest businesses in the Gatwick Diamond.
