The L'Oréal Group selects Sitecore to deliver personalised, multi-channel customer experiences across every engagement

London, UK – April 16, 2014 – Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management software, announced today that Sitecore’s experience platform has been selected by The L'Oréal Group to enable their marketers to deliver personalised customer experiences.

L'Oréal, one of the strongest portfolios of trusted cosmetics brands including Vichy, L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline and Garnier, will use Sitecore’s technology and unique approach to revolutionise the way women and men everywhere experience beauty online.

“As the leader in customer experience management, it was a natural move from our existing in-house platform to Sitecore’s enterprise-class experience platform. With Sitecore, we can deliver compelling, personalised and immersive digital experiences for our customers globally”, said Jean-Christophe Sautory, Chief Information Officer, L'Oréal SA. “Sitecore’s experience platform provides a robust and scalable central framework for all our brands, regions and countries.”

L'Oréal selected Sitecore’s experience platform, in combination with its Foundry and Azure cloud offering, to quickly build and deliver unique, yet connected, digital beauty experiences, scaling across all regions and languages. With Sitecore, L'Oréal will leverage customer insights in real-time to deliver dynamic, compelling content through all marketing channels.

Working exclusively with Sitecore’s world-class partner network, L'Oréal will build a central enterprise framework for customer experience management across its brand’s websites. This will create significant efficiencies by facilitating the re-use of website components across the brand and accelerate time to market. Today, the first brands are implementing websites with Sitecore’s technology.

“We are incredibly proud that L'Oréal chose Sitecore. As a global leader in beauty products, L'Oréal is looking to the future as it knows its discerning customers will expect beautifully crafted, tailored online beauty experiences”, said Michael Tupanjanin, Chief Revenue Officer. “Sitecore will enable L’Oreal’s marketers to own the experience they deliver to their audiences and provide measurable, relevant interactions that drive results and create customers for life.”
