The study states: “What sets ActiveStandards apart is its enterprise-level capability for multi-site operational digital governance” and goes on to highlight the “full-blown digital governance program that ActiveStandards offers in terms of being able to define, maintain, develop, enforce, and track standards across your enterprise”.
ActiveStandards is identified as being “…especially helpful for corporations that are global, use several different CMSs and communicate in several different languages”.
As well as these overall distinguishing capabilities, the report goes on to review the application in detail and highlights a number of key differentiating features including:
* The ActiveStandards API which allows for integration with any CMS.
* The unique combination of error checking, inventory, content insight, plus advanced analytics and KPI reporting incorporated within the platform.
* The Standards Hub knowledgebase, for creating and managing digital standards documentation.
ActiveStandards also scored a maximum 10 out of 10 (where 10 equals market leader) for key criteria including “Governance” and “Quality Assurance and Compliance” capabilities. And 9 out of 10 for “Integration” reflecting the availability of the ActiveStandards API designed specifically for CMS integration, allowing streamlined workflow.
This study follows on from another recent analyst report from Forrester, Digital Customer Experience Governance Demystified (http://www.activestandards.com/knowledgebase/forrester_report2.html), which articulated how good governance can optimise the digital customer experience, and referenced ActiveStandards in their number one recommendation, to “Monitor digital hygiene”.
Simon Lande, CEO and founder of ActiveStandards commented: "We are delighted to achieve this recognition, particularly coming from an analyst firm that specialises in the field of web operations."
“Whilst there are a number of companies that provide “toolkits” addressing various operational aspects of website quality, we believe we are the only organisation providing a complete end-to-end solution for website governance and compliance.”
"The market leadership recognised in this report is further consolidated by our recent acquisition of WelchmanPierpoint, the leading consultancy in enterprise digital governance, enabling us to provide a completely integrated blend of operational and strategic digital governance capabilities to enterprises aiming to optimise the management of complex, multi-stakeholder digital operations."
