London Gatwick Airport has appointed Zone as its social media agency following a competitive pitch.

Zone has been tasked with positioning London Gatwick as a world class business and leisure airport, enhancing passenger experience as well as promoting destinations, airlines and connections. The agency will start work immediately with a strategic review of London Gatwick’s social channels before taking over content creation and community management on a day to day basis.

The brief comes at an exciting time for the airport, following over £1 billion investment in the last five years and the opening up of many new routes Serving over 36 million passengers and over 200 destinations, London Gatwick also operates the world's most efficient single runway.
