broadbandchoices, the UK’s leading Ofcom accredited broadband comparison calculator, has recently partnered with Maxymiser, the global leader in unified customer experience optimisation, to improve the online experience for its customers across its portfolio of digital devices and channels.

broadbandchoices is a mobile phone, TV, broadband and phone comparison specialist, comparing packages and prices for its customers within their local area. broadbandchoices is also one of only a few organisations awarded the Ofcom seal of approval.

The partnership will see broadbandchoices and Maxymiser collaborate to develop a unique optimisation and personalisation roadmap, with campaigns focusing on different aspects of the customer journey across multiple devices. Overall objectives of the campaign are to fully understand customer needs and behaviours across different segments, ensuring that each individual gets the best possible online experience - eventually increasing conversion across the platform.

Jason Glynn, Head of Proposition, explains why the partnership made sense for broadbandchoices. “The customer is at the centre of our proposition strategy and our main goal is to make it as easy as possible for them to find the right mobile, broadband, or entertainment package for their needs. Working with Maxymiser will help us to understand our customers’ needs across a range of devices, enabling us to deliver a better experience for our customers faster than if we had handled the process in-house.”

Prior to working with Maxymiser, broadbandchoices used internal resource to conduct optimisation campaigns. However, they realised that they could achieve the desired results faster by bringing in external resource.

Jason continued: “Maxymiser has a proven track record in personalising online experiences across a varied range of industries which was very appealing to us. The option of a fully managed service was also extremely attractive, allowing us to leverage the expertise of the team and make use of their full suite of services.”
